by Muse Business Services, LLC are 508 compliant, but we do not
charge separately for Section 508 Compliance. With the adoption
of Section 508 compliance as standard, by the majority of
vendors, it is now a normal routine action that is performed in
the background. It has become, by the advancements in
technology, a feature that is built-in to the products we use.
Because 508 compliance has become routine and standard, we pass
this feature along to our customers at no charge.
Precise Optical Character
Recognition (OCR) conversion is critical to the successful
processing of documents for 508 compliance.
Columns are arranged in such a way that the correct order of
information flows as it should. Our software application can
also be applied to graphics and images to allow for information
recognition.
Each and every image that is
processed must successfully pass a final, stringent 508 quality
control gate, and is individually viewed by one of our Quality
Assurance Inspectors. This inspection ensures that the
information is extracted, mapped, is read and displayed
correctly. The “read” order is verified, the search utility is
checked, and the screen reader is also validated for accuracy
